almost forgot about this! i'd meant to post it yonks ago, back in july, when rafiq and mel win first got back and i wanted to ask them out for some food and things (mostly things). wasn't certain if the number listed in my phonebook was still the number rafiq used, so i shot him a text and the following conversation ensued:

me: test, test. is this rafiq? if yes, this is lisa. if no, this is someone trying to sell you something ridiculous you probably don't need.

rafiq: what're you selling? i'm interested in buying.

me: hmm. depends. what exactly don't you need and how much would you not be willing to pay for it? i probably don't have it, but you never know, really.

rafiq: i would like to buy an army of robot minions to assist me in world domination. do you have them? can i get a bulk discount as well?

me: funnily enough, i do happen to have an army of robots tucked away somewhere, just in case. if you're free tonight, we could meet up and discuss shipping costs.

in all honesty, i was only fully convinced when he mentioned the robot minions. HAHA. aih. i suppose i could've just called him, but where would be the fun in that?

and yes, we do type our texts in full. abbrev. is wht lazy ppl do, anyway. ha.
