christmas is around the corner, and walking just behind it is the new year, all dressed up and ready to surprise us with surprising things. i haven't seen some faces for a while, and i'm starting to miss them rather terribly. hopefully this weekend will make up for it, once they come back for the hollies.

in other news! my days at the architectural network are numbered (finally). this time i was firm with my decision of quitting at the end of december, batting away the wheedling of my colleagues and finding interest in random things whenever they pointed out i was only leaving in the middle of february. i feel rather guilty, but i figured i'd be doing this for the rest of my life, anyway, being an architect. so oh wells, s'not so bad, really. i can finally get around to some overdue hemming and hawing between bumming around and saving the world.
